Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani announced on Sunday that Qatar’s investments in the British economy have exceeded £40 billion.
Speaking at a joint press conference with UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy in Doha, the Prime Minister highlighted the strength of the economic ties between the two nations. He noted that bilateral trade reached more than £1.6 billion in 2024.
He emphasized Qatar’s ongoing role as a major global investor in the UK. Additionally, he described Britain as one of Qatar’s most significant and successful investment partners.
