Qatar Strengthens Global Ties at Paris Peace Forum 2025

Qatar reaffirmed its commitment to global cooperation for peace by joining world leaders at the eighth Paris Peace Forum. The event took place in Paris, France, drawing diplomats, policymakers, and international organizations from across the globe. Qatar’s ambassador to France, Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani, represented the nation at this high-level gathering.

Since the forum’s inception, Qatar has been a steadfast partner, continuously supporting efforts that foster dialogue and collaboration among nations. This year’s edition highlighted the importance of building new alliances for peace, people, and the planet. Through active participation, Qatar emphasized that global cooperation for peace remains essential to solving today’s shared challenges.

The 2025 forum centered on practical as well as sustainable solutions to global problems. Climate change, conflict resolution, and social development were at the forefront of discussions. Qatar’s contributions through its national institutions played a vital role in shaping the dialogue. The Qatar Fund for Development, Doha Forum, as well as QatarDebate Center each partnered in organizing this year’s event. Together, they aimed to promote innovation and inspire joint action on key global issues.

Moreover, participants explored strategies for strengthening trust between governments and civil societies. Many agreed that open communication and transparency can bridge divides and build stronger global partnerships. Qatar’s delegation underlined that peace cannot thrive without cooperation, inclusivity, and accountability.

In addition, the country’s ongoing initiatives continue to align with the forum’s goals. Whether through humanitarian aid, education programs, or environmental projects, Qatar remains deeply engaged in advancing shared progress. Its active role in this year’s forum once again demonstrated how global cooperation for peace can translate into real, measurable impact.

As the discussions concluded, the call for unity echoed strongly throughout the event. Every participant recognized that the path to stability lies in working together, not apart. Qatar’s presence and partnerships reflected its vision of a connected, peaceful world — one where dialogue replaces division and progress benefits everyone.

Overall, through its actions and advocacy, Qatar continues to prove that meaningful change begins with global cooperation for peace.
