Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani received a phone call on Monday from Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Abbas Araghchi.
The discussion covered ways to strengthen bilateral relations, the latest developments in Gaza, and the occupied Palestinian territories. They also talked about other issues of common concern.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed Qatar’s support for the agreement between the United States and Iran to move forward in their negotiations. He emphasized that reaching a fair, permanent, and binding agreement would contribute to regional security, stability, and peace. Moreover, it would create new opportunities for cooperation and dialogue in the region.
