Qatar PM Meets Pakistan’s Interior Minister to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, met on Tuesday with Pakistan’s Minister of Interior and Narcotics Control, Mohsin Raza Naqvi. This meeting took place during his official visit to the country to discuss Qatar Pakistan bilateral relations.

The high-level meeting focused on advancing bilateral cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. They emphasized Qatar Pakistan relations in areas related to security, governance, and regional stability. Both officials reviewed existing agreements and discussed ways to expand strategic collaboration in mutual areas of interest.

According to a statement from the Qatar News Agency (QNA), the talks reflected the shared commitment of both nations to deepen diplomatic and economic ties. This commitment was particularly through Qatar Pakistan bilateral relations. The meeting also served as a platform to explore collaborative efforts in combatting narcotics trafficking and enhancing public safety measures.

The Qatari Prime Minister highlighted the strong relationship between the two nations. Similarly, Minister Naqvi expressed gratitude for Qatar’s hospitality and emphasized Pakistan’s readiness to strengthen joint efforts. He spotlighted efforts through Qatar Pakistan bilateral relations particularly in areas of law enforcement, anti-narcotics operations, and counterterrorism.

This meeting comes at a time when both countries are actively seeking to diversify their international partnerships. They are also aiming to reinforce regional security frameworks. It aligns with Qatar’s broader foreign policy goals under its National Vision 2030, which emphasizes international collaboration and sustainable development.
