The State of Qatar took part in the preparatory ministerial meeting for the extraordinary session of the Arab League Council, held in Cairo on Monday. The session focused on the latest developments in the Palestinian issue.
HE Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led Qatar’s delegation at the meeting.
During the session, Qatar reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause. They emphasized the right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The meeting served as a platform for Arab nations to coordinate efforts in addressing the ongoing challenges facing Palestine. It highlighted Qatar’s commitment to regional diplomacy and solidarity.
