Qatar, Pakistan Discuss Stronger Bilateral Ties in High-Level Meeting

Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, met with Pakistan’s Minister of Interior and Narcotics Control, Mohsin Raza Naqvi, during the latter’s official visit to Doha on Tuesday, a significant event in Qatar Pakistan bilateral cooperation.

The meeting focused on reinforcing the growing cooperation between Qatar and Pakistan. Both officials emphasized their mutual commitment to advancing relations in several key sectors. These include security, trade, and regional coordination, all crucial aspects of Qatar Pakistan bilateral cooperation.

In addition, they discussed opportunities for expanding collaboration on security and counter-narcotics efforts as part of ongoing Qatar Pakistan bilateral cooperation. The ministers explored strategies to enhance joint action in tackling cross-border threats, improving law enforcement coordination, and sharing intelligence between the two nations.

The two sides also exchanged views on a range of regional and international developments. Their dialogue reflected shared interests in promoting regional peace and addressing global security challenges, which are integral to Qatar Pakistan bilateral cooperation.

Importantly, the meeting reaffirmed both countries’ desire to deepen ties and open new pathways for economic and diplomatic collaboration. Officials stressed the value of continuous dialogue, high-level visits, and regular joint committee meetings in strengthening long-term partnerships.

The visit of Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi comes as part of broader efforts by both governments to boost bilateral relations. It also underscores the strong historical ties and people-to-people connections that continue to unite Qatar and Pakistan.
