Qatar Museums launches Design Doha Prize 2026

Qatar Museums has launched the second edition of the Design Doha Prize, a biennial initiative. It is aimed at celebrating and supporting outstanding design talent from across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The prize recognises four designers, each selected in one of four categories: craft, product design, furniture design, and a new category introduced this year for emerging talent. This addition reflects the prize’s continued commitment to nurturing fresh and innovative voices in the regional design scene.

The open call for applications begins on April 20 and will run until June 30, 2025. Selected winners will benefit from mentorship opportunities and international exposure. They will also have a platform to present their work to a global audience.
