Qatar International Food Festival 2025 Kicks Off with Grand Opening

Doha, Qatar – The 14th edition of the Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) commenced on Wednesday at Hotel Park. It is launching a ten-day celebration of culinary excellence, entertainment, and cultural exchange.

Organized by Visit Qatar, this year’s festival is set to be the largest yet. It features over 100 local vendors, 27 international restaurants and cafés. There is also an exciting lineup of entertainment performances. Designed to showcase Qatar as a global food tourism destination, QIFF 2025 blends local and international flavors with innovative dining experiences.

Speaking at the opening, Eng. Abdulaziz Al-Mawlawi, CEO of Visit Qatar, emphasized the festival’s growing importance. It positions Qatar as a hub for gastronomy and hospitality.

“The Qatar International Food Festival has evolved into a global platform that celebrates culinary excellence while reflecting Qatar’s rich cultural diversity and commitment to innovation. Its continued success highlights the crucial role of the hospitality and dining sector in enhancing Qatar’s tourism industry and delivering world-class experiences.”

Festival Highlights

QIFF 2025 offers a diverse range of attractions for visitors of all ages, including:

  • Michelin Guide Village – A luxurious dining area where attendees can enjoy exclusive dishes prepared by world-renowned Michelin-starred chefs in an open-air setting.
  • QIFF Ring – A live cooking competition where chefs will compete in high-energy culinary battles, showcasing their skills and creativity.

The festival will also feature interactive workshops, live cooking demonstrations, and entertainment performances. This ensures a dynamic experience for food lovers and families alike.

QIFF 2025 runs until February 22, inviting both residents and international visitors to explore Qatar’s diverse and evolving food scene.
