Doha, Qatar – Qatar has established new sectoral committees aimed at improving the country’s business ecosystem. They also aim at enhancing the national workforce. These committees, announced by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Labor, will work together to identify challenges in key industries. They will offer practical solutions to strengthen the business environment.
The committees will focus on sectors such as trade, industry, health, logistics, information technology, and innovation. Saleh Majid Al Khulaifi, Deputy Undersecretary for Industry and Business Development at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, explained that the committees will engage with private companies in these sectors. Shaikha bint Abdulrahman Al Badi, Assistant Undersecretary for National Manpower Affairs at the Ministry of Labor, highlighted the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors. She stated that the goal is to create policies and programs that enhance the competitiveness of the local market. This will support the overall growth of the economy.
