Qatar Condemns Attacks on Sudan’s Infrastructure: Calls for Peaceful Resolution

The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the targeting of vital infrastructure in Kassala and Port Sudan as part of its stance where Qatar condemns attacks on Sudan’s infrastructure. It described the actions as clear violations of international law and a grave threat to the region’s security.

In a statement released on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Qatar’s categorical rejection of all forms of aggression against civilian and strategic facilities. Qatar condemns attacks on Sudan’s infrastructure that worsen instability and obstruct peace efforts in Sudan.

Moreover, Qatar urged both regional and international actors to intensify diplomatic efforts to end the ongoing conflict through peaceful and constructive means, emphasizing how Qatar condemns attacks on Sudan’s infrastructure. It stressed the need for urgent coordination to protect civilians and safeguard key services and infrastructure.

At the same time, the Ministry reiterated Qatar’s unwavering commitment to Sudan’s unity, sovereignty, and long-term stability. It expressed full solidarity with the Sudanese people and their aspirations for a secure, prosperous future.

Qatar continues to promote a peaceful resolution to the conflict while supporting initiatives that reinforce Sudan’s development and national cohesion. Through its principled diplomacy, Qatar stands firm in its support for lawful, humanitarian approaches to regional crises.
