Qatar Charity Launches ‘Giving Lives On’ Ramadan Campaign to Aid 4.5 Million People

Doha, Qatar

Qatar Charity (QC) has launched its 2025 Ramadan campaign, ‘Giving Lives On’, aiming to assist nearly 4.5 million people across 40 countries, including Qatar. The initiative will focus on providing humanitarian aid, development projects, and early recovery efforts. This will particularly target crisis-affected regions such as Gaza, Syria, Sudan, and Yemen.

During a press conference, Ahmad Yousef Fakhroo, Chief Marketing Officer at QC, urged benefactors in Qatar to support the campaign. It seeks to help internally displaced persons (IDPs), refugees, and vulnerable families worldwide.

Major Relief Efforts in Gaza and Beyond

Gaza will receive significant attention in this year’s campaign. Plans include the largest Iftar project on the first day of Ramadan and the dispatch of multiple relief convoys. QC also aims to fund shelter, water projects, mosque construction, and orphan sponsorships. An estimated QR 282 million will be allocated to assist 2.4 million people globally.

Projects in Qatar

QC will organize Iftar tables at 46 locations, a ‘Mobile Iftar for Farm Workers’ initiative at seven sites, and a ‘Ramadan Supply’ program to support low-income families, widows, and divorced women. Additionally, the ‘Alaqraboon App’ will provide assistance to debtors, prisoners, and other humanitarian cases.

How to Donate

QC has made donations accessible through:

  • Websiteqcharity.org/en
  • Mobile app: (qch.qa/appen)
  • Home Collector Service for Zakat donations
  • Branches and mall collection points across Qatar

The campaign highlights Qatar’s long-standing commitment to humanitarian aid. It aims to ensure vital support reaches those most in need during Ramadan.
