Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, the Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, met with Zhang Lu, President of the International Zheng He Society, and her delegation during their visit to Oman. The meeting, which took place at the Foreign Ministry, focused on enhancing the historical and diplomatic relations between Oman, Singapore, and China. They aimed to build on the longstanding ties that date back centuries.

The discussions included a detailed reflection on the historical significance of Zheng He, the renowned Chinese navigator and explorer, who visited Oman over 600 years ago. They emphasize fostering mutual respect and understanding between their people.

Ambassador Sheikh Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Hosni, Head of the Asia and Pacific Department at the Foreign Ministry, was also present at the meeting.
