Oman, UAE Discuss Regional Talks and Support for Peace Efforts

Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, received a phone call from Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The two officials spoke about key regional developments, with a focus on the ongoing talks hosted by Oman between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Both ministers agreed that these discussions play a vital role in promoting understanding and easing tensions in the region.

Sheikh Abdullah praised Oman’s active and balanced diplomatic role. He expressed deep appreciation for the Sultanate’s ongoing efforts to mediate and create a peaceful atmosphere for dialogue. He noted that Oman’s steady and thoughtful approach has helped build trust between parties and paved the way for meaningful negotiations.
