Oman to Expand Education System with 1,306 Schools by 2025-2026

Muscat: Dr. Madiha Ahmed al Shibani, the Minister of Education, presented her ministry’s progress report to the Shura Council on Wednesday. During her address, she outlined ambitious plans for the country’s education sector, emphasizing growth and improvement.

According to Dr. Al Shibani, Oman is set to establish 1,306 schools by the academic year 2025-2026. This initiative will expand the educational infrastructure to accommodate the growing student population. The new schools aim to enhance access to quality education across the country.
