A new digital platform has been integrated into the Sultanate of Oman’s pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. Created by the Omani tech company YouVerse, the platform offers visitors an immersive virtual experience that connects them to Oman’s heritage and future ambitions through advanced technology.
According to Ibrahim Saif Bani Araba, Assistant Director-General of the Directorate-General of Arts at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth and a member of the Technical Committee for Oman’s Expo pavilion, the experience leverages extended reality (XR) and artificial intelligence to deliver an innovative, interactive journey.
“This platform is not merely an exhibition—it’s a gateway into the boundless potential of the Sultanate,” said Bani Araba. “It reflects a fusion of heritage and innovation, tradition and progress.”
The project, developed by a team of Omani innovators, aligns closely with Oman Vision 2040, showcasing the country’s commitment to sustainable development, technological advancement, and international engagement.
