The championship featured a challenging course: a 1.9 km swim, a 90 km cycling route, and a 21.1 km run. In addition, IRONKIDS inspired young athletes to enjoy physical activity and take part in organized sports programs. The scenic Arabian Sea coastline and nearby mountains created a stunning backdrop for the competition, combining natural beauty with high-quality facilities.

The awards ceremony on October 25 recognized top performances in men’s, women’s, mixed relay, and individual age-group competitions. In the men’s overall category, Jamie Price from the United Kingdom achieved first place, while fellow Briton Christopher secured second position. Hawana Salalah offers world-class infrastructure, including a year-round marina, luxury resorts, international hotels, dining, Aquapark, and sandy beaches. The destination also features premium waterfront properties, providing attractive investment opportunities for GCC and global investors.

Event organizers emphasized the importance of public-private collaboration. Wael Al Lawati, CEO of Muriya, said hosting the Hawana Salalah Ironman strengthens Oman’s ability to deliver world-class sporting events. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohsen Al Ghassani, Chairman of Dhofar Municipality, said the championship proves Salalah’s capacity to host international-scale competitions.

Mohammed Al Obaidani, CEO and Founder of MGE, added that this year’s edition marked a milestone in participation and execution. He highlighted Hawana Salalah’s fully integrated environment and world-class infrastructure, noting plans to expand the city’s portfolio of global sporting events in the future.
