Oman Minister Honors Students And Media Staff In Sur

The Minister of Information honoured a group of students from the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Sur, along with staff from the Communication and Media Department in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, in recognition of their contributions to local media initiatives.

The recognition was linked to their participation in a media forum titled “South Al Sharqiyah… Sustainable Impact,” which aimed to support community-focused media work and encourage student involvement in the sector.

During a visit to the governorate, the minister reviewed ongoing media projects and initiatives designed to strengthen communication efforts and improve the reach of official media messaging across the region.

He also met with the governor of South Al Sharqiyah to discuss developments in the media sector and explore ways to further enhance its role in supporting local development goals and public engagement.
