The Internet 2025 report found that 45.2% of internet users in Saudi Arabia have adopted AI-powered tools. The fifth edition of the report examines internet usage trends, digital infrastructure and the uptake of emerging technologies across the Kingdom.

The report also showed that average mobile internet data consumption reached 53 GB per person each month, around three times the global average.

Saudi Arabia also ranked among the top five G20 countries for median mobile internet download speed, which reached 216 Mbps, reflecting continued investment in digital infrastructure.

According to the report, 61.3% of internet users spend seven hours or more online each day, underscoring the growing role of digital services in everyday life.

The CST also reviewed the Kingdom’s most-used and most-downloaded applications across categories including social media, government services, sports and artificial intelligence.

In addition, registrations of Saudi .sa domain names increased by 18% over the past year, a sign of growing confidence in the country’s digital ecosystem.

The report is part of CST’s ongoing efforts to monitor the development of Saudi Arabia’s internet landscape and support innovation, digital services and economic growth.
