MoECC Launches Inspection Campaigns as Winter Camping Season Ends

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC), through its Wildlife Protection Department, has launched a series of inspection campaigns. These campaigns have been conducted across winter camping areas as the season concludes.

Throughout April, teams carried out inspections across the northern, central, and southern regions of Qatar. Their focus was on maintaining the cleanliness of camping sites, protecting local ecosystems, and ensuring no environmental violations occurred.

Hamad Salem Al Nuaimi, Director of the Wildlife Protection Department and Chairman of the Winter Camping Affairs Organization Committee, highlighted the importance of balancing recreational camping activities with environmental preservation. He called on all campers to respect environmental regulations. This supports the country’s efforts in sustaining its natural heritage.
