Minister of State for Communications Affairs Omar Al-Omar on Tuesday praised the efforts behind the government platform Kuwait Sahel e-services. He stressed that its success reflects teamwork and strong coordination among state institutions.
Speaking to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) after honoring volunteers and officials who contributed to the project, the minister said the initiative demonstrates the government’s commitment to simplifying transactions. This is achieved through practical, user-friendly digital services.
Al-Omar highlighted the role of young volunteers who contributed to the platform’s design and visual identity. Their creativity, he said, helped make services more accessible and relatable to different segments of society. He also commended translation teams for enriching the platform’s content. This extended its reach to a broader audience, thereby enhancing inclusivity.
The minister emphasized that the recognition ceremony was a reflection of the state’s appreciation for all contributions — from leadership and technical work to voluntary support. These efforts, he added, have been instrumental in advancing Kuwait Sahel e-services as a national digital tool.
Looking ahead, Al-Omar affirmed that the platform will continue to evolve. It will build on collaborative achievements to further Kuwait’s digital transformation and improve the quality of government services.
