Police in Makkah have arrested two expatriates for their involvement in fraudulent schemes targeting Hajj pilgrims.
The Yemeni and Egyptian suspects were found promoting misleading advertisements for fake Hajj campaigns via social media.
They falsely promised accommodation and transportation services for pilgrims within the holy sites.
Legal action has been taken against them, and the case has been referred to the Public Prosecution.
The General Directorate of Public Security urged citizens and residents to strictly adhere to Hajj regulations and report violators by calling 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 in other regions of the Kingdom.
