Lebanese President Commends Qatar’s Continued Support

President of Lebanon, Joseph Aoun, has lauded Qatar’s consistent support for Lebanon throughout its various challenges. He highlighted the dedication of Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to strengthening bilateral ties.

President Aoun expressed his appreciation for the Amir’s invitation to visit Doha. He noted the historic bond between the two nations, built on mutual respect and a shared commitment to deepening cooperation.

He emphasized that Lebanon holds Qatar in high regard for its positive and steadfast role during difficult times. He expressed hope that the visit will further enhance bilateral relations, advance shared interests, and contribute to regional stability. The president also stated that discussions during his visit will include Qatar’s potential role, alongside other Arab allies, in supporting Lebanon’s recovery and reinforcing state authority across its territory.
