At the “Good Practices and Future Challenges for the Quality of Education” forum, Dr. Jassim Al-Ali, Director of the National Agency for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education, emphasized the strong commitment of Kuwait’s leadership to advancing higher education. He described higher education as a key investment in the nation’s future and youth, crucial for driving national progress and development.
Dr. Al-Ali highlighted that His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah, under the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, has made the development of higher education a top priority. This commitment aims to align Kuwait’s educational system with the highest international standards.
The forum, held under the auspices of His Highness the Prime Minister and in strategic partnership with the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences, also saw cooperation with the Arab Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education. The event took place at the General Authority for Applied Education and Training.
In his remarks, Dr. Al-Ali emphasized that quality education is not only a goal but a national responsibility. He stressed the importance of continuous efforts and innovative strategies to foster a culture of academic excellence and accreditation, which are critical to ensuring Kuwait’s competitiveness in the global knowledge economy.
