Kuwait Science Club achieved remarkable success at the Egypt International Science and Technology Fair (EISTF 2025), highlighting Kuwait’s youth scientific achievements. The Club won the Grand Prize, along with two gold medals, one silver, and one bronze. This victory reflects the talent and creativity of Kuwaiti students on the international stage.
The two-day event took place at Education City in 6th of October City, Egypt. Delegations from Arab and foreign countries competed strongly. Students showcased innovative projects demonstrating research skills and technological expertise.
Ali Al-Jumah, Secretary-General of Kuwait Science Club, expressed pride in the team’s achievements. He noted that the Club has represented Kuwait honorably since the first EISTF in 2016. Furthermore, he stressed that this victory reflects Kuwait’s dedication to nurturing young researchers.
Dr. Mohammad Al-Saffar, Head of Development and Competitive Programs at the Club, said this year’s participation included four projects presented by seven students, both male and female. They qualified through the Kuwait Science and Engineering Fair, demonstrating the success of local scientific programs.
He also noted that this achievement comes from the National Program for Supporting Young Researchers and Innovators. The program strengthens research skills, encourages creativity, and prepares students for international competitions. Moreover, it promotes collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving among youth.
The EISTF 2025 offered a platform to showcase research in technology, environmental science, health, and engineering. Participants from various countries created a highly competitive environment. As a result, Kuwait’s youth stood out with their exceptional projects.
