Kuwait, Saudi Arabia Deepen Strategic Partnership in NEOM Talks

Kuwait and Saudi Arabia have renewed their commitment to stronger ties during high-level talks in NEOM. The meeting reflects Kuwait-Saudi strategic cooperation, a long-standing partnership that continues to expand through close coordination and regional unity.

Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman hosted Kuwait’s Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah and his delegation during an official visit. The Kuwaiti leader carried warm greetings from the Amir of Kuwait and the Crown Prince, extending wishes for continued prosperity in Saudi Arabia.

Discussions focused on enhancing bilateral integration across all areas. Both sides praised the deep-rooted cooperation between their nations and agreed to expand it even further. They stressed the importance of continued coordination and consultation on regional matters.

The two leaders also reviewed key regional and international issues. They shared views on peace, stability, and collective security. Both countries confirmed their support for diplomatic efforts that maintain stability in the Gulf and wider region. These shared goals show the strength of Kuwait-Saudi strategic cooperation.

Earlier in the day, the Kuwaiti delegation arrived in NEOM. Saudi officials, including Prince Turki bin Mohammed and Ambassador Prince Sultan bin Saad, welcomed them at the airport. Senior Kuwaiti diplomats were also present during the reception.

Upon arrival, Prime Minister Al-Abdullah expressed pride in visiting the Kingdom. He described the visit as a chance to enhance cooperation and ongoing dialogue between the two countries. He praised Saudi Arabia’s leadership and its positive role in regional affairs.

Both sides highlighted the importance of strategic alignment in facing current challenges. Economic cooperation, regional security, and political coordination remain key pillars in their partnership. Officials noted that joint projects and mutual interests are growing stronger with each meeting.

After the talks concluded, Prime Minister Al-Abdullah returned to Kuwait. Senior officials welcomed him at the airport, including the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, and the Minister of Defense. Their presence reinforced the importance of the visit and its outcomes.

Kuwait-Saudi strategic cooperation continues to shape regional policies. The strong connection between both countries plays a central role in Gulf stability and unity. Their joint efforts reflect a shared vision of peace, partnership, and mutual respect.
