Kuwait National Guard Upholds Transparency with Public Cadet Selection Draw

Kuwait’s National Guard held a public draw recently. This event selected new cadet officers. Importantly, the draw ensures complete transparency. It also supports the strategic goal of Protecting the Nation. The ceremony occurred under high-level patronage. National Guard Chief Sheikh Mubarak Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sponsored it. Furthermore, thirty-five students received nominations. Protection Commander Major General Hamad Ahmed attended. He witnessed the entire selection process.

Initially, two hundred eighty-nine applicants qualified. They all passed the first selection stage. However, only thirty-five candidates succeeded. The draw chose them fairly. Consequently, five cadets will study in Saudi Arabia. Another five will pursue military studies in Qatar. Meanwhile, twenty-five will join a local college. They will attend Ali Al-Sabah Military College in Kuwait.

Major General Hamad Ahmed conveyed congratulations. He gave them from the National Guard Chief. He also gave them from the Deputy Chief. He stressed the organization’s core values. Justice and equal opportunity are paramount. Moreover, transparency guides the entire admissions process. The public draw finalizes this transparent system.

Furthermore, he wished the candidates great success. He urged them to stay dedicated and disciplined. Their future role is very important. They must support their leaders effectively. They must also support their colleagues. Ultimately, they will contribute to the National Guard’s excellence. This effort is all about Protecting the Nation.

This initiative aligns with a strategic plan. The National Guard’s 2030 strategy is called Protecting the Nation. It focuses on scientifically qualifying personnel. Training begins from the very outset. The plan emphasizes sending cadets abroad. It also uses local military institutions. This ensures strong professional development. It prepares them for future military duties. This entire process strengthens national security.
