The Meteorology Department has forecast hot and unstable weather conditions across Kuwait today, with temperatures expected to soar and the potential for dust storms and scattered rain.
Skies will vary between partly cloudy and overcast throughout the day, while light to moderate southerly to southeasterly winds are predicted. These winds may strengthen at times, reaching speeds between 15 and 55 km/h, potentially leading to dust storms in some areas.
In addition to the dust, there is a chance of scattered rain showers, with thunderstorms possibly accompanying the rainfall.
During the evening hours, weather conditions are expected to remain dusty and partly to mostly cloudy. Winds will shift direction, blowing from the southeast to northwest at moderate to strong speeds, ranging between 20 and 55 km/h.
According to the forecast, the maximum temperature is expected to reach a scorching 41°C, while the minimum will dip to 23°C.
Authorities urge residents to take necessary precautions, especially those with respiratory issues, and to stay updated with official weather bulletins.
