He decorated Army Chief of Staff Khaled Al-Shuraian with the rank of Lieutenant General. Moreover, Lt. Gen. Al-Shuraian brings extensive experience to his new role. Born in 1968, he graduated from the Royal Jordanian Military College in 1990. He has participated in several key military operations throughout his career. These include the 1991 Kuwait Liberation War and the 2003 Iraq Liberation War. He also served in Saudi Arabia’s Operation Decisive Storm in 2015. Previously, he commanded the Kuwaiti Air Defense Force. His service has been recognized with numerous medals and decorations.
