Japanese Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs Hisashi Matsumoto met with Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador Ghazi Faisal S. Binzagr to discuss bilateral cooperation, including the newly established Strategic Partnership Council.
During the meeting, Matsumoto highlighted the significance of 2025 as the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations. He expressed optimism about further strengthening ties across various sectors.
Binzagr, in turn, reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to deepening collaboration with Japan and expressed gratitude for Matsumoto’s participation in the recent Japan-Saudi Vision 2030 Ministerial Roundtable held in Riyadh.
The discussions reflect both countries’ continued efforts to expand their partnership, particularly in economic and strategic fields, as they look toward future cooperation.
