The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq strongly condemned the provocative comments made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. These comments were about the establishment of a Palestinian state on Saudi Arabian land.
In a statement, the ministry expressed its firm rejection of Netanyahu’s remarks. It called them a direct violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and an attack on the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. The statement also highlighted that the remarks contradict international law and the United Nations Charter.
Iraq reaffirmed its full support for Saudi Arabia and its commitment to the security, stability, and sovereignty of all nations. It emphasized that any infringement on a country’s sovereignty is completely unacceptable.
