Iraq and the United Arab Emirates continue to strengthen Iraq-UAE energy cooperation through new talks between ADNOC and Iraq’s Ministry of Oil. The meeting took place in Baghdad and focused on deeper collaboration in exploration, refining, and energy infrastructure.

The ADNOC delegation outlined fresh opportunities for joint investment. Iraqi officials welcomed the proposals and stressed the country’s commitment to modernizing its oil industry. Both sides agreed that Iraq-UAE energy cooperationcould create strong foundations for regional energy growth.

During the talks, ADNOC executives highlighted Iraq’s massive potential for upstream oil development. They also discussed refining projects aimed at meeting local demand and increasing export capacity. Iraqi leaders emphasized their goal of attracting advanced technology and expertise from global partners.

The meeting covered plans to improve logistical networks. Discussions included the expansion of pipelines, storage facilities, and export terminals. These improvements could reduce costs and strengthen Iraq’s energy infrastructure.

In addition, both sides explored digital innovation in the oil sector. ADNOC shared its experience with smart energy management and sustainable production systems. Iraqi officials expressed interest in applying these tools to boost efficiency and reduce emissions.

Observers believe this round of talks will accelerate regional investment. ADNOC’s strong regional presence supports its mission to expand cooperation with neighboring countries. Iraq’s ongoing reforms and transparent investment policies make it an ideal partner for new ventures.
