The General Tax Authority (GTA) has launched a new taxpayer support booth at West Walk. This is part of its ongoing efforts to enhance public awareness and offer direct assistance on tax-related matters.
Running from April 20 to 26, the booth operates daily from 4pm to 10pm. It provides visitors with essential guidance on tax procedures and obligations. Additionally, the booth offers answers to enquiries and explanations of technical aspects of the national tax system.
This initiative follows previous successful outreach activities at other commercial venues. It reflects the GTA’s strategy to expand its direct engagement with individuals, entrepreneurs, and company representatives.
Visitors to the booth can benefit from free advisory services aimed at facilitating tax compliance and promoting principles of transparency and accountability. The GTA said the effort is part of a broader approach to improving communication with taxpayers. It also aims to increase understanding of tax responsibilities in line with the country’s evolving economic framework.
