Etihad Airways Q1 2025 performance has soared to new heights, posting its highest-ever quarterly profit and top customer satisfaction scores to date.
In the first quarter of 2025, profit after tax hit AED 685 million ($187 million)—a 30% year-on-year increase.
This milestone reflects strong passenger demand and smart operational efficiency across all services.
Etihad’s total revenue rose by 15% compared to Q1 2024, driven by both passenger and cargo divisions.
The airline also saw exceptional growth in passenger traffic, flying 5.0 million guests, a 16% increase year-on-year.
Over the past 12 months, Etihad has carried nearly 20 million passengers, making it the fastest-growing airline in the region.
These gains reinforce the airline’s strategy to scale with purpose and customer-centricity.
“We are proud to deliver a record-breaking quarter,” said Antonoaldo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways.
“Our Etihad Airways Q1 2025 performance proves our model works—profitable, sustainable, and focused on guest satisfaction.”
He added, “We’ve made strategic moves to enhance the journey end-to-end.
From cabin upgrades to new lounges and the debut of our A321LR aircraft, we’re setting regional benchmarks.”
Etihad’s latest aircraft offer a market-leading narrow body product, setting a new standard for mid-range travel comfort.
Additionally, airport services have seen refinements to improve guest experiences across all travel classes.
The CEO emphasized that efficiency and sustainability remain core goals as the airline expands its fleet and global reach.
“Our people drive this success. Their dedication has powered an unmatched Etihad Airways Q1 2025 performance,” Neves said.
Looking ahead, Etihad plans further enhancements in fleet technology, digital services, and global route development.
With Q2 already underway, the airline shows no signs of slowing its upward trajectory.
