Emirates Launches Reimagined Travel Store in Jakarta, Elevating Customer Experience in Indonesia

Emirates has launched its reimagined Travel Store in Sequis Tower, Jakarta, reinforcing its commitment to delivering world-class service to Indonesian travelers. The opening follows similar launches in Hong Kong and Manila, part of the airline’s growing investment in Asia.

The 221-square-meter store was officially opened by Orhan Abbas, Emirates’ Senior Vice President for Commercial Operations, Far East. He was joined by H.E. Abdulla Salem AlDhaheri, the UAE Ambassador to Indonesia, along with other dignitaries, trade partners, and media.

“We are delighted to launch Emirates’ newest travel store in Indonesia,” said Abbas. “This concept blends technology with personal service to create a seamless journey from the planning phase to boarding.”

A New Retail Experience

The store offers a calm, luxurious setting. Soft beige tones and modern furniture create a lounge-like feel. Visitors can browse Emirates-branded merchandise and exclusive travel accessories while waiting.

Four service counters provide flight booking, ticketing, and detailed travel advice. Emirates travel consultants are on hand to deliver personalized support and uphold the airline’s signature hospitality.

Interactive Features

The store features a voice-activated LED selfie screen with rotating destination backdrops. Visitors can download photos using a QR code—no printing needed.

A Ghaf tree display, the UAE’s national symbol, stands above a large digital screen. The screen highlights Emirates destinations, milestones, and special offers.

A queue management system is also in place. It shortens wait times and allows guests to give feedback via WhatsApp.

Emirates in Indonesia

Emirates has served Indonesia for over 30 years. The airline operates double daily flights from Jakarta and Denpasar to Dubai. It connects travelers to over 140 destinations across six continents.

In Bali, Emirates offers the only daily A380 service, boosting seat capacity on this key route.

The new Jakarta store reflects Emirates’ ongoing efforts to offer convenient, customer-first travel solutions throughout Southeast Asia.
