A heavy dust storm blanketed various parts of the country on Tuesday as strong northwesterly winds swept through the region. The Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) issued a weather alert, warning of wind speeds ranging from fresh to strong, starting April 15 and expected to persist through the weekend.
According to the advisory, the strong winds may stir up dust and significantly reduce horizontal visibility in some areas. Authorities have urged the public to exercise caution and stay informed through official weather updates.
