Diplomatic Relations Established Between Oman and Saint Kitts and Nevis

Oman and Saint Kitts and Nevis have taken a significant step forward as diplomatic relations established between the two nations. The signing ceremony took place at Oman’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York. This milestone clearly reflects both countries’ shared vision for enhanced cooperation and stronger international engagement.

To begin with, Ambassador Omar Said Al Kithiri, Oman’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, represented the Sultanate of Oman. Meanwhile, Ambassador Mutryce Agatha Williams, Permanent Representative of Saint Kitts and Nevis, represented her country. Together, they formally opened this new chapter in a spirit of partnership and goodwill.

During the event, Ambassador Williams also conveyed greetings from Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew and Foreign Minister Dr. Denzil Douglas. Furthermore, she emphasized Saint Kitts and Nevis’ commitment to building lasting ties with Oman. Her remarks strongly highlighted the belief that diplomatic relations established between the nations will foster mutual benefits in multiple sectors.

In response, Ambassador Al Kithiri warmly welcomed the initiative. Moreover, he stressed Oman’s dedication to laying the groundwork for productive dialogue and cooperative projects.
