The Chamber of Commerce of Spain in Qatar celebrated its 15th anniversary with a gala event at the Marriott Marquis Hotel. The celebration brought together business leaders, dignitaries, and Chamber members to mark this important milestone.
The event was attended by Spain’s Ambassador to Qatar, Álvaro Renedo. He praised the strong diplomatic and economic ties between the two nations. Highlighting the evening were awards presented to five outstanding Spanish companies and one prominent Spanish businessman. This was in recognition of their vital contributions to the Chamber’s founding and their lasting impact on Qatar’s business landscape.
Among the honorees, Iberdrola, FCC, and FMM received the Founding Member Award. SEK International School was honored with the Business Collaboration Award, and Esteban Barrachina received the Business Legacy Distinction.
David Quintanilla, President of the Chamber, expressed gratitude to the Chamber’s members and partners for their continuous support. He emphasized that their commitment has been crucial to the Chamber’s growth and success.
