Bahrain’s Minister of Oil and Environment Meets French Ambassador to Discuss Energy Cooperation

His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, met with His Excellency Mr. Eric Giro-Telme, Ambassador of France to Bahrain, to explore avenues for strengthening collaboration in the energy and oil sectors.

During the meeting, both sides highlighted the strong and growing ties between Bahrain and France, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation in energy investments. The discussions covered potential partnerships in the oil and gas industry, as well as opportunities for integrating French expertise in renewable energy and energy transition projects within Bahrain.

Dr. bin Daina expressed appreciation for the longstanding partnership between the two nations, underscoring Bahrain’s commitment to advancing energy initiatives and fostering innovation in sustainable development. He noted that working closely with international partners like France would contribute to the kingdom’s vision for a diversified and resilient energy sector.

Ambassador Giro-Telme, in turn, conveyed his gratitude for the warm reception and reaffirmed France’s interest in deepening economic and technological collaboration with Bahrain. He praised Bahrain’s efforts in driving energy transformation and wished the kingdom continued success in its development strategies.
