Bahrain Tennis Club Opens Registration for Ramadan Tournaments

Bahrain Tennis Club has officially opened registration for its annual Ramadan tennis tournaments. These tournaments will take place during the nights of Ramadan and are open to club members. The club has organized several exciting events for this year’s Ramadan activities.

The main highlights include the Yousef Khalil Almoayyed Tennis Doubles Championship. This event is held each year in memory of the late Yousef Khalil Almoayyed. It offers a chance for club members to compete in doubles matches. The second major event is the Majid Al Zayani Super Doubles Championship. This championship targets more advanced players, including first-team tennis players.

Additionally, the club will host a billiards doubles championship, adding variety to the tournaments. The tournaments are open to both experienced and newer members of the club. This diversity in events ensures that all members have a chance to participate, regardless of skill level.

Ahmed Khalid Al Khalfan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bahrain Tennis Club, spoke about the importance of these tournaments. He mentioned that the club takes pride in organizing these events every year. Al Khalfan also expressed gratitude for the ongoing sponsorship from Yousef Khalil Almoayyed & Sons Company and Al Zayani Investments. Their support is vital to the success of the tournaments.

The Ramadan Activities Organizing Committee will continue accepting registration until Friday evening, February 28. This deadline marks the final day for participants to submit their applications. After that, the technical committee will finalize the draw and announce the match schedules.

In conclusion, Bahrain Tennis Club’s Ramadan tournaments offer an exciting opportunity for members to engage in friendly competition. With a mix of tennis and billiards events, the club encourages everyone to join. The tournaments foster camaraderie among members while honoring the traditions of Ramadan.
