Bahrain Strengthens Cultural Ties with Egypt at Grand Egyptian Museum Opening

The Ambassador of Bahrain to Egypt, Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, said that the attendance of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister at the Grand Egyptian Museum’s opening shows the strength of Bahrain–Egypt relations. Representing Bahrain’s leadership, his presence highlighted the Kingdom’s respect for Egypt’s cultural and civilizational influence in the region and beyond.

Zainal explained that Bahrain gives great importance to cultural cooperation among Arab countries and globally. She noted that dialogue between civilizations helps promote peace and understanding among nations. She added that such events create new chances for tourism and cultural exchange between Bahrain and Egypt. Through shared projects, Bahrain–Egypt relations continue to grow stronger every year.

She also emphasized that culture and civilization act as a universal language connecting people. Zainal praised Egypt’s leadership for preserving its rich heritage and linking the country’s ancient past to its modern success. She admired the Grand Egyptian Museum’s unique collection that celebrates identity, diversity, and harmony among cultures.

According to Zainal, the opening of the museum marks a major step in global culture and history. It reflects Egypt’s deep historical roots and its ongoing impact on humanity. She added that celebrating the Pharaonic civilization also honors shared human creativity. The Kingdom’s ancient Dilmun civilization shares that same legacy of wisdom, progress, and trade. Both civilizations show how early nations built bridges through culture and innovation.

Zainal described the museum as a source of pride for Arabs and the world. She expressed hope for continued growth and cooperation between both countries. She also said that Bahrain–Egypt relations remain strong in culture, politics, and development.

The Grand Egyptian Museum stands as a symbol of Egypt’s influence and Bahrain’s respect for shared heritage. For both nations, the event represents a commitment to unity, understanding, and peace through culture. By supporting cultural collaboration, Bahrain and Egypt continue to strengthen their bond and inspire others to value history and humanity.
