Bahrain Promotes Global Dialogue and Cooperation at South-South Parliamentary Forum

Bahrain promotes global dialogue as it reaffirms the value of diplomacy and peaceful solutions to global conflicts.
During the South-South Parliamentary Dialogue Forum in Rabat, Bahrain highlighted its role in enhancing international cooperation.
The Shura Council Chairman led Bahrain’s delegation and emphasized the country’s clear and consistent diplomatic policy.

Bahrain promotes global dialogue through active participation in forums that seek peaceful resolutions to disputes.
The Chairman praised Bahrain’s support for sustainable development, especially through partnerships with countries in the Global South.
He stressed the importance of joint action in achieving regional stability and economic growth across southern nations.

Moreover, Bahrain has launched several cooperative projects to boost capacity-building and exchange experiences with partner countries.
These efforts, according to the Chairman, strengthen economic ties and build trust among friendly and brotherly nations.
He noted that Bahrain stands firmly behind initiatives that aim to build long-term peace and strategic development.

The Chairman also emphasized that political dialogue is crucial for ending conflicts, including the Palestinian issue.
Bahrain continues to support a two-state solution based on the 1967 borders and international resolutions.
The Kingdom regularly voices this stance in both regional and global platforms.

The Chairman added that parliaments play a growing role in promoting understanding among countries.
He called for deeper exchanges of successful practices and stronger coordination among legislative bodies.
He stressed that facing modern challenges requires cooperation beyond borders and shared determination.

Bahrain promotes global dialogue to confront global threats, including economic instability and climate change.
The Chairman also addressed the impact of rapid technological progress, especially artificial intelligence.
There was a warning that reliance on others’ technology could weaken the Global South’s position. Countries were urged to become creators of knowledge, not just consumers. Morocco’s efforts in hosting the event and encouraging strategic dialogue were praised.
Finally, he expressed hope that this forum would lead to stronger cooperation and lasting development worldwide.
