Lieutenant General Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, commander of Bahrain’s National Guard, met Admiral Naveed Ashraf, commander of the Pakistani Navy, at the naval command headquarters in Islamabad. The Bahraini delegation also held talks with Lieutenant General Muhammad Asim Malik, director general of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), at the agency’s headquarters in Rawalpindi.

The meetings focused on expanding military coordination, exchanging expertise and enhancing cooperation between the two countries in areas linked to security and defence.

During the discussions, Sheikh Mohammed praised the progress achieved in Bahraini-Pakistani relations and highlighted the role of Pakistan’s armed forces in supporting regional and international stability. He also stressed the importance of continuing joint coordination and developing broader areas of military cooperation.
