Bahrain Introduces Physiotherapy Services for Children with Disabilities

The Ministry of Social Development, in collaboration with relevant authorities, has introduced a new physiotherapy service for children with disabilities. This initiative is part of broader efforts to enhance support systems and provide integrated social services for individuals with disabilities.

According to the Ministry, the newly launched service allows beneficiaries to electronically submit requests for physiotherapy, as well as issue and print disability allowance and social security statements. The system also includes a QR code verification feature to confirm the validity of financial statements.

Officials emphasized that these digital services are designed to streamline access, improve efficiency, and support the country’s digital transformation strategy. By enhancing accessibility and reducing processing times, the initiative aims to improve the overall experience for beneficiaries.

The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to advancing services in line with global best practices while strengthening partnerships with public and private sectors to promote inclusive development.
