Bahrain Flour Mills Prepares for Ramadan Supply Demands

Bahrain Flour Mills is fully prepared for Ramadan 2025. The company has been focusing on its Ramadan preparation strategy to meet the increased demand for flour products during the holy month. This effort aligns with the company’s long-standing goal of ensuring Bahrain’s food security.

The Chairman of Bahrain Flour Mills, Basem Mohammed Al Saai, explained that the company remains committed to fulfilling the Kingdom’s flour and wheat needs. His leadership team has made every effort to stock essential products such as harees, semolina, all-purpose flour, pastry mix, and luqaimat in preparation for the increased demand. This preparation ensures that these products will be available in sufficient quantities throughout Ramadan.

Additionally, Bahrain Flour Mills has secured a shipment of 25,250 metric tons of high-quality Australian wheat. The wheat arrived on February 1, 2025, as part of the company’s plan to maintain a steady supply of flour. Al Saai stated that the wheat was purchased through an open tender at competitive prices. The company’s careful selection of quality wheat from trusted global sources helps ensure the best products for consumers.

To support the Kingdom’s food security, Bahrain Flour Mills has also maintained a strategic stock of wheat and flour. The company has worked closely with government officials to ensure that the local market remains well-stocked throughout Ramadan. Al Saai expressed his gratitude for the government’s ongoing support of the food sector, which plays a vital role in the Kingdom’s economic stability.

As Ramadan approaches, Bahrain Flour Mills is confident that its preparations will meet the needs of citizens and residents. With its high-quality wheat supplies and well-stocked products, the company continues to contribute to the Kingdom’s food security during this crucial time.
