Bahrain Capital Governorate and Municipality Align to Meet Community Needs

The Capital Governorate reaffirmed its dedication to working closely with the Capital Municipality. This partnership focuses on addressing the needs of citizens and improving local services. The collaboration aims to enhance facilities and follow up on community concerns through direct coordination with government agencies.

Governor Sheikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa welcomed Engineer Mohammed Saad Al-Sahli, Director-General of the Capital Municipality, to discuss ongoing and future initiatives. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Governor Hassan Abdullah Al-Madani and Dr. Jameel Hassan Al-Ruwaie, Director of Engineering and Investment Services. They reviewed service needs in different areas and villages within the Capital Governorate.

The governor highlighted the importance of cooperation between the Governorate and the Municipality. He emphasized that joint efforts are essential for improving public services and ensuring that development projects meet actual community needs. Moreover, he pointed out the Governorate’s role as a bridge between citizens and government bodies.

During the meeting, both sides examined development plans designed to benefit residents. These plans focus on upgrading infrastructure, expanding essential services, and enhancing the overall quality of life. Furthermore, the governor stated that such dialogue is key to achieving shared goals and building stronger public trust.

On his part, Engineer Al-Sahli expressed gratitude to the Governor for supporting collaborative efforts. He also acknowledged that effective teamwork between the two entities helps deliver better services and supports national progress. Al-Sahli also praised the Governorate’s proactive role in addressing community needs in a timely and organized manner.

Overall, strengthening local cooperation remains a top priority for both the Capital Governorate and the Municipality. Together, they aim to ensure that citizen voices are heard and that projects align with long-term development goals. As a result, residents can expect more responsive services and continued improvements in their daily lives.
