Bahrain and Cyprus Strengthen Digital and Logistics Partnership

Bahrain continues building strong global ties by enhancing logistics and digital cooperation with Cyprus. On Tuesday, Bahrain’s Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, welcomed Cyprus’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Constantinos Koumpos. Their meeting took place at the Ministry’s headquarters in Bahrain.

During their discussion, both sides highlighted the importance of boosting collaboration across several strategic sectors. These included transportation, logistics, communications, and digital transformation. Bahrain aims to advance these partnerships to support mutual growth and development. At the same time, Cyprus expressed interest in contributing to regional progress.

Dr. Al Khalifa emphasized Bahrain’s dedication to enhancing digital and logistics cooperation with Cyprus. He noted that closer ties will bring economic benefits to both nations. Moreover, he stressed that this cooperation supports Bahrain’s wider vision of modernization and innovation.

Both ministers agreed on the need for ongoing engagement between Bahrain and Cyprus. They underlined that enhancing digital and logistics cooperation helps create shared opportunities and drives national advancement. They also discussed ways to promote sustainable projects and share technical skills.

Furthermore, the ministers reaffirmed their commitment to future partnerships. They expressed confidence in continued progress through bilateral efforts. As global markets evolve, both countries seek to lead in innovation, especially in digital infrastructure and smart logistics.
