His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani led the reception for Syrian President HE Ahmed Al Sharaa and his accompanying delegation. This took place during their official visit to the country on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
The reception was also attended by HE Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, Chief of the Amiri Diwan. Additionally, HE Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khulaifi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was present.
President Al Sharaa’s visit comes as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral relations. It aims to explore opportunities for cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Syrian Arab Republic.
