Abu Dhabi Launches Digital Legislative Encyclopedia to Enhance Legal Awareness and Services

Abu Dhabi’s Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) has introduced a digital version of the Legislative Encyclopedia, aiming to improve legal awareness, streamline municipal services, and support the development of the integrated transport system. This new resource, available to the public, stakeholders, and strategic partners, offers a comprehensive reference on the laws and regulations governing DMT operations and responsibilities.

The digital encyclopedia consists of eight key sections, covering areas such as real estate, construction, urban planning, health and safety, and integrated transport, among others. It also includes information about the department’s establishment and affiliated entities.

One notable feature is its AI-powered search function, designed to provide quick, semantically accurate results, helping users access relevant information with ease. The virtual counsellor, enhanced by ChatGPT, offers multilingual support, delivering answers and legal references on demand.

The digital initiative aligns with DMT’s vision of regulatory excellence and technological innovation, making essential legislative information freely available to the public while contributing to the UAE’s goal of strengthening its legal framework and global reputation.
