Bahrain’s representative Fawzia Abdullah praised Iraq on Wednesday for its excellent preparations for the 34th Arab League Summit. Speaking in Baghdad, she extended gratitude for Iraq’s warm reception and generous hospitality during the delegates’ meeting.
Fawzia Abdullah delivered her remarks during the senior officials’ meeting that prepared for the foreign ministers’ session. She expressed heartfelt thanks to Iraq for hosting the summit with professionalism and grace. She added that Bahrain supports Iraq’s leadership of the summit, which aims to advance Arab unity efforts across the region.
Abdullah reflected on Bahrain’s presidency of the 33rd Arab Summit, guided by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. She affirmed that Bahrain worked to strengthen Arab solidarity to protect regional interests and confront common challenges.
She highlighted that Bahrain closely followed up on past summit decisions in political, economic, and development sectors. Bahrain, she noted, led several initiatives that shaped progress across these important areas.
Abdullah revealed that Bahrain launched a digital database within the General Secretariat to document members’ implementation progress. These tools aim to enhance transparency and accelerate Arab unity efforts through informed collaboration.
In closing, Abdullah expressed appreciation for the Secretary-General and staff of the Arab League. She thanked them for supporting Bahrain’s presidency and its push for regional cooperation. The Kingdom of Bahrain remains committed to unity and shared prosperity among Arab nations.
