Kuwait Invites Lebanon’s President Joseph Aoun for Official Visit in May

President Joseph Aoun has received a formal invitation to visit Kuwait on May 11 and 12, 2025.
The invitation came from the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Yassin Al-Majed, chargé d’affaires at the Kuwaiti Embassy in Beirut, delivered the letter in person.
The message highlights Kuwait’s interest in strengthening Lebanon-Kuwait relations through dialogue and high-level engagement.

In his letter, the Emir expressed Kuwait’s respect for Lebanon’s resilience and national aspirations.
He emphasized the importance of strengthening Lebanon-Kuwait relations across various political, economic, and cultural sectors.

The Emir described the upcoming visit as a valuable opportunity to deepen bilateral understanding.
He also encouraged discussions on pressing regional developments and shared interests between the two nations.

Kuwait hopes the visit will build on decades of cooperation between Beirut and Kuwait City.
President Aoun is expected to meet senior officials and participate in official discussions during the two-day visit.

The Emir also sent his best wishes for Lebanon’s ongoing stability, prosperity, and diplomatic progress.
He reaffirmed Kuwait’s commitment to strengthening Lebanon-Kuwait relations and fostering long-term cooperation.
